Today

Is the first day

I’ve left the house

So I kind of have a lot to say

Okay,

So it’s not the first time

But it’s the first time

That I felt

In so many ways

That I’ve left the house

For the first time

I ran

On The Beach

On the Sand

And saw people

There they stayed

On their blanket

SoI held up my hand

And raised both my arms

And shouted to them

“Isn’t this heaven?!”

And they smiled

A smile that played

From their eyes

Then went back to their tray

To continue their picnic

So I kept on for miles

And grew tired

And faint

But I felt like

We connected
