A misty morning
As I slide through the water
Hear my voice from shore

Set adrift at sea
So much swimming in my head
Can you see from there
THE BARRED OWL HAIKU
Uneventful dark A silent hunter takes flight On the ground they wait
THE DOWNY WOODPECKER HAIKU
A rare occasion
In the forest When I hear
You ere you hear me
THE OYSTERCATCHER HAIKU
From the dunes we pause
And watch in wonder at the Birds dancing on shore
THE TUNDRA SWAN HAIKU
