The First & Last Cardinal

I saw a cardinal (first of the year I think) today as I was working in the studio, and it just reminded me of this series of cardinals I did some years ago. It was the first piece I made when I started seeing the real potential in my work and the uniquity of my style, and at the time I was working in series of each design. I ended up doing 10 of these cardinals, and this is the last one I could find. They're smaller originals, framed up around 11x14 or so, but they made a big impact. I remember seeing one of them framed matted up in a big dark mat, and it was so striking. Just like a cardinal wants to be! Well, this is the last one, if anyone's interested, let me know!
