Sheepshead are unmistakable, sporting one of the most comical creature features found in the sea. They’re human like teeth are discordant in a way, making you wonder how and why a species so far removed from us humans could have such a bright white smile.
Sheepshead travel up and down the coast, using their chompers to feed on hard and brittle shellfish. They’re often found around reefs and pilings, and are a popular target around bridge spans.
